Just an Update

My third hive that was put in place three weeks ago seem to be coming along okay.
I keep feeding syrup to them to help them make new cone and fill out as much foundation
as possible.
I want them to be as ready as soon as they can be for this coming winter.
Nancy, the AG. Bee inspector is coming by today to check out the hives. I think all will
be well.

  1. Nancy made it to the house yesterday evening. We went through all three hives with a great review on all three. My latest hive#3 is a little slow to get going. But, we did see the queen and marked her so she will be easy to find and check up on in a couple more weeks. I hope she picks up her pace making brood or she may have to be replaced with a better queen. Sorry to say but, her life depends on it. If she doesn't do well before winter gets here. The entire hive could be at risk. Go girls...
